The fastest timeline for production I have ever been a part of and definitely a challenge to get everything lined up in time. We cut it close on many occasions, but seeing all the elements come together was totally worth it. After quite a few lessons learned, I am most thankful to have been a welcome part of the incredible team of creative minds that came together to pull this off.

This eclectic music video inspired by Michel Gondry’s visual style was a technically challenging yet playful shoot with a lot of will packed into a small but powerful team. The otherwise exacting editing process was where true stamina and grit was built. Having now edited an entire project almost fully frame-by-frame, my approach to editing has at the very least been both refreshed and perfected.

As the first full-fledged project I got to write / direct and have a dedicated team of creative individuals help bring it to life, this short is a feat to cherish. Passionate initiative, malleable experimentation, and dedicated follow-through are the key ingredients to any successful creative project.

This past year Andreea wrote a short narrative thriller film script that she has since had the privilege of getting to produce and direct. The project is titled PiCKAPART and is currently in the final stages of post-production. Follow the film’s insta account @pickapart.film for updates on screenings and release dates.
